2021 Sleighbell Parade

I spoke with our Chief of Police, Joshua Glass about security arrangements in light of what happened in Waukesha. He said additional measures are being taken, but couldn't go into details about them. With his reassurance, I can recommend attending, and intend to do so myself.

The parade was pretty fun. I went out with my dorky sign, and got nearly 100 visits to the Manistee Speaks website. There where thousands of people downtown, and lots of horses. A bit cold though.

Did anyone else here attend?

I did a couple open base tours as a kid with my dad. I dont get the parade stuff but I would love to see a military show again at a place like Luke or down in Yuma.
