Hello,
My name is Chris Shilts, and I've lived in Manistee for 25 years. My favorite activity around town is going for walks on the river walk. I hope they will get the western end fixed soon so I can go on longer walks.
I'm concerned that our citizens are becoming estranged from each-other in various ways, and this problem has been amplified by the lockdowns as well as general fear of the virus. There's also been some strong polarization along partisan lines. For these reasons and others, I started this board. It is my hope that by talking to each-other more frequently we'll be able to strengthen the bonds of our community.
